David Spade and Howie Mandel description

PB&J. Sunburns and aloe vera. David Spade and Howie Mandel. All classic pairings in their own right. Just because Spade and Mandel haven’t been around for as long as those other combos, doesn’t mean that their Vegas show isn’t going to be as legendary.

On the surface Spade and Mandel seem like an odd combo, right? Spade: a super popular actor and comedian, known for his time on “Saturday Night Live,” and films like “Tommy Boy” and “Joe Dirt.” On the other hand, Mandel has hosted the mega-successful game show “Deal or No Deal,” and was a judge on the ultra-popular NBC show “America’s Got Talent.” So why the pairing? Truth is, who knows? But we do know that these dudes are funny.

So pull up a chair and lather up that aloe vera because this show is going to be a scorcher.

Ray Romano and David Spade description

Award-winning television stars and stand-up comedians Ray Romano (“Everybody Loves Raymond”) and David Spade (“Just Shoot Me”) have teamed up for a night of comedy and laughs at The Mirage Hotel and Casino.

Opposites in comedy styles — Romano rose to fame playing bumbling everyman characters where Spade succeeded in playing sharp, sarcastic roles — both have parlayed their unique brands of humor into major commercial success.

Romano originally planned to be an accountant, but an open-mic night at a New York comedy club in 1984 changed all that. Regular appearances at comedy clubs and on talk shows — including “The Tonight Show” with both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno and the “Late Show with David Letterman” — led to his starring role on the award-winning sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond.”

From TV, Romano branched out into movies, the most successful being his stint as the voice of Manny the woolly mammoth in four “Ice Age” animated films. He continues to act on television with roles in the TNT series “Men of a Certain Age” and now a continuing part on NBC’s “Parenthood.”

Like Romano, Spade parlayed television success into movies. Appearances as a cast member of “Saturday Night Live” first brought Spade national attention. That led to longtime roles on “Just Shoot Me” and now “Rules of Engagement.”

Spade made the jump to big screen first with movies starring fellow SNL alumni including “Coneheads,” “Tommy Boy” and “Black Sheep.” He followed that up with “Joe Dirt” and like Romano, an animated blockbuster, Disney’s “The Emperor’s New Groove.” His most recent movies include “Grown Ups,” the sequel “Grown Ups 2” and the animated movie “Hotel Transylvania.”

Both Romano and Spade are regulars in Las Vegas so expect a night of laughs with Sin City being the butt of some of the jokes.
