Henderson Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks

Celebrate Independence Day at Henderson’s annual Fourth of July celebration. This event, which draws thousands of people to the city each year for a night of live entertainment, family fun, concessions and an 18-minute fireworks display that will be synched to music above Heritage Park in honor of America’s birthday.

Free Outdoor Movies at The District

WHAT: The District at Green Valley Ranch invites the community to enjoy the center’s FREE “June Movie Nights.” Taking place each Saturday evening throughout the month of June, outdoor movies will be shown on the green behind Whole Foods. Remedy’s St. Rose 11th Anniversary Party

ROCK OUT AT REMEDY’S ST. ROSE AS THEY CELEBRATE 11 YEARS IN HENDERSON

Get the band together for an evening of rockin’ tunes, drink specials, prize giveaways, and a costume contest

It’s time to put on those ripped jeans, worn-out band t-shirts, and crank the volume up to 11 because Henderson’s best-loved bar Remedy’s St. Rose is rocking out to celebrate their 11th Anniversary. The rocker-themed party will take place on Saturday, May 19. There is no cover for the party, however, all guests must be 21 years or older with valid ID to attend.

Beginning at 7 p.m., rock stars will enjoy a jammin’ party with a dinner buffet, drink specials, and a DJ spinning ’80s rock classics. In addition, guests are encouraged to come in their best ’80s rock band attire for a chance to win at the costume contest. Other prizes will also be given away throughout the evening.

Along with unique and fun themed parties throughout the year, Remedy’s boasts a wide selection of house-made cocktails and handcrafted food. Remedy’s also offers a VIP Gaming Club, 24-hour service from their friendly staff, tasty lunch specials seven days a week and much more.

For the late night owls, Remedy’s and Distill host ‘After Hours,’ an early morning gaming contest and party held monthly. All After Hours parties take place on late late Saturday/early Sunday with the drawing at 3 a.m. This month’s After Hours drawing will take place on Sunday, May 13 and the lucky winner will walk away with a $500 Stub Hub gift card. Players between midnight and 8 a.m. earn one drawing ticket for every 300 points for a chance to win the monthly grand-prize. After Hours is at all Remedy’s and Distill locations. Winner must be present.

Get your feet wet on Water Street! Join us for a foodie, community, arts, music and crafts celebration the last Friday of each month in historic downtown Henderson. Last Friday, Just Add Water Street takes place 6 pm-10 pm in the Water Street District at the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 S. Water St.

Each event encompasses all aspects of the emerging arts, culinary and performing arts and will benefit local charities.

The Great American Foodie Fest

 The Great American Foodie Fest returns to Sunset Station on April 26th-29th, 2018. The festival will be open from 5 pm to 11 pm on Thursday and Friday, 12 pm to 11 pm on Saturday and 12 pm to 10 pm on Sunday.

The Great American Foodie Fest was formerly the Las Vegas Foodie Fest. The event draws 40,000-50,000 Foodies at each event and has been voted ‘Best of Las Vegas Event’ by the Las Vegas Review-Journal 5 years in a row from 2013-2017.

The Great American Food Festival is a culmination of the best specialty food vendors & gourmet food trucks from all around the country that have been featured on the Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and other top food shows.

VIP experience (VIP line pass at the gate, access to VIP section, $25 food/ beverage vouchers, one souvenir -shirt and goodie bag) can be purchased for only $50 presale for a Four Day Pass (Unlimited re-entry) per person if purchased in advance online at GreatAmericanFoodieFest.com or $60 at the gate day of the event.

Basic). Look for the official blue/white 40′ party bus (with the Grape X banner) that will be in the parking lot parallel to Water Street.

Grape Expectations will have Irish Green T-shirts for sale. Cost is $15 each; cash only; no matter the size.
Sorry…but there are no parking accommodations at this location.
The “Bloody Mary Buffet” will be offered between 09:00-10:00 AM in the parking lot.

The Train Wreck Marching Band – Come be a member of “the Band”…the more the merrier. Participants are required to bring a musical instrument that “THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO PLAY”. Absolutely no practicing…the worse you are, the better we like it! “The Professor of Yeastology”, KJ Howe, is the Conductor of the Train Wreck Marching Band and this is, hands-down, a crowd favorite every year.

Frolicking Grapes – We have 12 costumes (fruit of the loom grape costumes) and they are first come; first served. Just send an email to umakeadawine@grapexlv.com if you are interested in wearing a costume.

Green Valley Ranch Craft Beer Festival

Green Valley Ranch Craft Beer Festival in Henderson Saturday, October 14 from 6-9 p.m. Mingle with brew masters from the invited breweries during the event, which will be held in the property’s backyard pool area. General admission costs $40.

Designed with true beer lovers in mind, guests will receive seven tokens for sample size beers and one for a super pour – a full-size beer of their choice. Guests will also receive an event souvenir mug, and have the opportunity to purchase more tokens. Breweries in attendance include Ballast Point, Tenaya Creek, Left Hand Brewing, Green Flash, Oskar Blues, Firestone, Anchor, Brooklyn Brewery, Dogfish Head, Hop Valley, Modern Times, Lagunitas, Leinenkugel’s, Crafthaus, Schoenram Gold, Reutberg Dunkel, Jolly Pumpkin, Kulmbacher Eisbock, Banger Brewery, St. Archer, Barley’s, Gordon Biersch, Joseph James, Abel Baker, Alaskan, Ninkasi, Lost Coast, Coronado, Abita and Founders.
