Santa Claus will not be the only star at Town Square Las Vegas’ annual holiday parade on Friday, Nov. 11. Clint Holmes, “BAZ – Star Crossed Love” and performers from Nevada Ballet Theatre will take center stage next to Santa’s House in Town Square Park before the start of the parade.
Performances will begin at 5:30 p.m. with “BAZ – Star Crossed Love” followed by Nevada Ballet Theatre at 6 p.m. and Clint Holmes at 6:30 p.m. Santa’s arrival parade will start at 7 p.m. at The Green near Yard House and end at Santa’s house. Clint Holmes is the star of “Clint Holmes: Between The Lines” at The Palazzo® Las Vegas. The show is the latest addition to The Palazzo Theatre and is a sonic tour de force that illustrates ties between the artist, song and inspiration for Holmes and his band. “BAZ – Star Crossed Love” at The Palazzo® is a new generation cabaret and high-energy movie-music mash-up that blends the world’s most iconic love stories as imagined by famed film visionary Baz Luhrmann.
Following the parade, Santa will light the 45-foot Christmas tree in Town Square Park and snow will begin to fall. Children can take photos with Santa Claus inside his Norman Rockwell-inspired house immediately following the tree lighting. Photo reservations are required to see Santa after Friday, Nov. 11 and can be made online at www.TownSquareSanta.com. Photo appointments will begin on Saturday, Nov. 12 and will run through Friday, Dec. 23. A $20 deposit is required at the time of booking and will be applied toward photo purchase. Photos on Saturday, Dec. 24 will be walk-ins only and available on a first-come-first-serve basis. This year, Town Square Las Vegas has partnered with Criss Angel’s foundation for pediatric cancer. Guests are able to donate to the nonprofit when booking their Santa Claus photos online. Johnny Crisstopher Children’s Charitable Foundation raises awareness for pediatric cancer and provides funds for research, treatment and ultimately a cure.
