On Saturday, January 31st, 2026, in Las Vegas, Major League Eating will host Siegel’s Bagelmania World Bagel Eating Championship – this open-to-the-public FREE event will feature some of the best competitive eaters from around the globe competing against each other in a quest for both a championship belt and their share of the $10,000 Grand Prize.

Competition Highlights

• Defending Champion Joey Chestnut, the world’s number-one-ranked competitive eater, will defend his title after consuming 15 bagels with cream cheese in eight minutes during last year’s event.
• The Eating Challenge: Athletes must consume as many plain bagels topped with cream cheese as possible within an eight-minute time limit.
• Top Competitors: The field includes six of the top 10 MLE athletes, including Patrick Bertoletti, Geoffrey Esper, and Las Vegas local Derek Hendrickson.
• Increased Prize Purse: A total of $10,000 will be awarded, with the first-place winner historically receiving $5,000.
• Free Livestream: New for 2026,  the event will be livestreamed globally on TrillerTV. This digital service, typically focused on combat sports, will bring the competition to a worldwide audience free of charge.
