What to Expect at the Würst Festival

The brat-grillers fire up their grills Saturday morning to prepare more than 4,000 bratwursts, sausages and hot dogs during this popular Boulder City tradition.

Sunrise Rotarians will also serve soft drinks, water, margaritas, wine and beer. Food trucks will offer additional meals, snacks and beverages beyond the festival’s traditional bratwurst and hot dogs.

Festival highlights include:

  • More than 4,000 bratwursts, sausages and hot dogs.
  • Food trucks with additional menu options.
  • Beer, wine, margaritas and nonalcoholic drinks.
  • The Würst Dam Car Show.
  • An antique market with up to 40 vendors.
  • Live entertainment during the day.
  • A fundraising auction from 4:00–6:00 p.m.
  • An evening concert continuing until approximately 7:00 p.m.

See Hundreds of Vehicles at the Würst Dam Car Show

The Würst Dam Car Show returns with several hundred vehicles displayed as part of the day’s festivities.

Car enthusiasts can admire classic, custom and specialty vehicles while enjoying food, drinks and the festival atmosphere. Spectator admission is free.

Shop the Antique Market

The Würst Festival Antique Market opens at 9:00 a.m., one hour before the main festival, and continues until 6:00 p.m.

Up to 40 antique vendors will be located throughout the event, giving visitors an opportunity to browse vintage merchandise, collectibles and one-of-a-kind finds.

Join the Live Auction

The festival’s largest fundraising activity is its lively auction from 4:00–6:00 p.m.

Rotarian auctioneers and spotters keep the bidding entertaining and friendly. Auction offerings vary, but items commonly featured include:

  • Vehicles
  • Golf packages
  • Vacation packages
  • Furniture
  • Sports memorabilia
  • Tandem bicycles
  • Items donated by local businesses and Rotarians

Auction items, registration requirements and availability are subject to change.

Live Entertainment and Evening Concert

Live entertainment will keep the festival moving during the midday hours. After the main fundraiser activities conclude, an evening concert will continue in the park until approximately 7:00 p.m.

The entertainment schedule and performers may be announced closer to the event.

Supporting Boulder City Students and the Community

The Würst Festival is Boulder City Sunrise Rotary’s annual fundraising project. Proceeds support the organization’s community programs and activities.

One of its largest projects is the alcohol- and drug-free All Night Graduation Party for graduating Boulder City High School seniors. The celebration provides students with a fun, supervised place to gather while helping keep young adults safe on graduation night.

By purchasing food and drinks, shopping with vendors, participating in the auction, donating or sponsoring the festival, attendees help Sunrise Rotary continue this project and other community initiatives.

Donations, Sponsorships and Vendors

Boulder City Sunrise Rotary accepts sponsorships and auction-item donations throughout the year. Individuals and businesses interested in supporting the fundraiser can submit their information through the official donation form.

Donate an Auction Item

The festival also seeks food vendors whose menus complement the bratwursts and hot dogs sold by Sunrise Rotary. Other types of vendors are not currently being solicited.

Questions about donations, sponsorships or food-vendor opportunities can be directed to the organizer through the Boulder City Sunrise Rotary contact page.

Parking & Transportation

Bicentennial Park is located in downtown Boulder City and includes parking, but spaces may be limited during this popular community event.

Arrive early, follow temporary event signs and avoid blocking accessible spaces, fire lanes, vendor-loading areas or nearby residential access. Additional parking and walking may be necessary during peak festival hours.
