Extreme Thing Sports and Music Festival returning to Las Vegas for its 25th anniversary in 2027.

Extreme Thing Returns to Las Vegas

Extreme Thing became an important part of the Las Vegas music and action-sports scene after launching in 2001. For years, the festival gave local fans an opportunity to see established alternative artists, discover emerging bands, watch extreme-sports demonstrations, and experience a festival created specifically for Southern Nevada.

The festival went on hiatus after its 2016 edition. Its 2027 return marks the beginning of a new chapter and a celebration of the community that helped make Extreme Thing a Las Vegas original.

The anniversary festival is expected to combine familiar Extreme Thing traditions with new artists, attractions, vendors, and interactive experiences.

Twenty-five years. One day. Extreme Thing is back.

Is Extreme Thing an All-Ages Festival?

Yes. Extreme Thing 2027 is an all-ages event.

Children ages 6 and younger receive free General Admission. Other premium ticket types may require a separate purchase regardless of age, so families should review the selected ticket terms before completing an order.

Alcoholic beverages will be available only to guests ages 21 and older who present valid government-issued photo identification.

Because the festival may feature loud music, crowded areas, extreme sports, and performances intended for broad festival audiences, parents should use their judgment when bringing young children. Hearing protection is strongly recommended.

Individual food and merchandise vendors may establish their own payment policies. Some may accept cash, but most are expected to accept cards.

No ATMs are expected to be available inside the festival.

Accessibility at Extreme Thing

Designated ADA viewing platforms are planned at each main stage. Because Desert Breeze Event Center is an outdoor grass venue with temporary festival layouts, travel routes and viewing arrangements may differ throughout the grounds.

Guests who need mobility accommodations or information about accessible entry should contact the festival before attending.

Trained service animals are welcome. Ordinary pets are not permitted.
