Motörhead Exhibition Opening hits The Punk Rock Museum
Celebrate Lemmy Kilmister and Motörhead at the opening of a new exhibition at The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas.
The Punk Rock Museum will open its new Motörhead and Lemmy Kilmister exhibition on Friday, October 2, 2026, with an evening of music, memorabilia and hands-on rock history.
The exhibition features personal items from Lemmy’s collection, photographs, handwritten lyrics and other artifacts connected to the legendary Motörhead frontman.
One of the biggest highlights is something fans will not just look at. Guests will have the opportunity to play Lemmy’s Rickenbacker bass through the actual Marshall stack he used.
Motörhead Exhibition Opening Night Schedule
6–8 p.m. — Exhibition Walk-Through
Get a special look at the new Motörhead exhibition and explore memorabilia connected to Lemmy and the band.
8 p.m. — MOTORBÄBE Live
MOTORBÄBE, an all-female salute to Motörhead, performs live inside the Three Star Punk Bar.
9 p.m.–midnight — Brian Slagel DJ Set
Brian Slagel of Metal Blade Records takes over the Three Star Punk Bar for a late-night DJ set.
Motörhead albums will also be available at Vinyl Threat, the museum’s record store, and exclusive Motörhead merchandise will be available in the museum gift shop.
About the Motörhead Exhibition
Motörhead blended heavy metal, rock ’n’ roll and punk attitude into a sound that influenced generations of musicians. Lemmy also had strong ties to the punk scene, including his time playing with The Damned.
The exhibition celebrates that history through original artifacts and an unusually interactive opportunity to experience some of Lemmy’s actual equipment.
The Motörhead exhibition runs from October 2, 2026, through February 1, 2027. The Punk Rock Museum states that the exhibition is included with general museum admission.
