About Lita Ford
Lita Ford has earned her place among hard rock’s most recognizable guitarists and vocalists. She began her career as the lead guitarist for The Runaways, joining the groundbreaking all-female rock band while still a teenager.
After The Runaways disbanded, Ford launched a successful solo career and established herself as a commanding singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Her self-produced 1988 album, Lita, became her biggest commercial success and produced several of her best-known songs.
Ford’s signature catalog includes “Kiss Me Deadly,” “Back to the Cave,” “Falling in and Out of Love,” and “Close My Eyes Forever,” her hit duet with Ozzy Osbourne. Her music combines heavy guitar riffs, glam-metal energy, powerful vocals, and the attitude of classic ’80s hard rock.
