Free Bluegrass Music at Water Street Plaza
Henderson Bluegrass transforms Water Street Plaza into an outdoor destination for live roots music, food, and family fun. The festival features an uninterrupted schedule of national and regional bluegrass artists performing from late morning through early evening.
The 2026 lineup is led by Sister Sadie, the acclaimed all-female bluegrass group known for tight harmonies and instrumental skill. Authentic Unlimited and East Nash Grass bring additional award-winning musicianship, while Tray Wellington Band adds a progressive approach centered around Wellington’s distinctive banjo playing.
The Cody Sisters and Australian country-bluegrass performer Kristy Cox round out the main-stage schedule. Old Time Fiddlers will provide roaming entertainment throughout the festival grounds.

Festival Bar
Bottle and Barrel LV will operate the festival bar. Guests must be at least 21 years old and present valid identification to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. Outside alcohol is prohibited.
Food vendors, menus, prices, and availability may change. Purchases are not included simply because festival admission is free.
Free Parking and Transportation
Two public parking garages and several public lots are available throughout the Water Street Business District. Public event parking is free, but spaces may fill quickly.

Major Avenue Road Closure
The intersection of Major Avenue and Boulder Highway is scheduled to close for 24 hours beginning Friday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. The closure is expected to continue until Saturday, October 17 at 7:00 p.m.
Allow additional travel time and follow posted detours, temporary traffic controls, and directions from event personnel.
