What is the best time to visit the Neon Museum?
The answer is sunset! If you visit after sunset, you can see the signs illuminated. Visitors can learn about the history behind each sign, including details about its creator and the inspiration for the design, and see how the lights contributed to the historic landscape of vintage Vegas.
Photography at the museum:
- Photography with a camera for any additional artistic or commercial use is prohibited.
- Cameras and external equipment, such as tripods and selfie sticks, are not allowed and must be left in your vehicle or checked in to be held at the Front Desk.
- Personal photography with a cell phone or tablet is allowed as long as you follow the Visitor Photography Guidelines.
Personal bags:
- Large bags, backpacks, and luggage bags are not allowed.
- You can bring a small personal bag no bigger than 12” x 12” x 6 “ | 30cm x 30cm x 15cm.
What to wear?
There is no dress code, however guests are encouraged to wear close toed shoes as the Museums’ Neon Boneyard has a fine gravel surface.
Can you bring food and drinks to the museum?
- Bottled water is allowed.
- No other outside food or beverage is allowed in the Museum.
- Food and drinks are available for purchase in the Museum Store.
