Celebrate America’s birthday with a red, white, and blue fireworks display on Friday, July 3, at 9:10 pm. The fun continues with fireworks every Friday night through September 4.
The fireworks launch from the Plaza’s towers and are visible all over downtown Las Vegas and beyond. For the holiday weekend, Main Street in front of the Plaza will be closed to cars, turning it into a lively pedestrian viewing area. Watching the fireworks is free, but you’ll need to RSVP for access to the rooftop pool party.
The Plaza Hotel & Casino is bringing back its popular free Friday night fireworks, now with a patriotic theme for Independence Day Weekend. Inspired by Disneyland-style displays, these shows have become a favorite tradition for locals and visitors alike.

Each week, a special guest, such as a community leader, local hero, influencer, or hotel guest gets to be the TNT Ignitor and start the show in front of the crowd. For the holiday weekend, the Plaza offers a special TNT Ignitor VIP Experience, which includes a private cabana for eight, VIP bottle service, a commemorative photo, and your name announced live.
