Las Vegas Sinfonietta Presents: Art of Symphony: From Storm to Clarity

Join the Las Vegas Sinfonietta for a journey through the Classical era! “From Storm to Clarity” features the emotional intensity of Haydn, the dramatic power of Vanhal, and the brilliance of Mozart. A one-afternoon-only performance at the Clark County Library Theater. The Las Vegas Sinfonietta continues its genre-focused sixth season with an intimate and dynamic program.

Curated by Music Director Taras Krysa, this concert traces the symphony’s expressive evolution over the 18th century. The program moves from the darker, turbulent emotional landscapes of the Sturm und Drang style to a sense of Classical balance and poise.

The Program Includes:

  • Joseph Haydn: Symphony No. 44 (“Trauer”) – An emotionally charged hallmark of Haydn’s style.
  • Johann Baptist Vanhal: Symphony in C Minor – A rarely heard, striking gem from 18th-century Vienna.
  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Symphony No. 29 – A masterpiece of clarity, grace, and youthful brilliance.

Why Locals Will Love It: This is a rare opportunity to experience these works in the Sinfonietta’s signature intimate style, designed to bring the audience closer to the music.

  • Venue: Clark County Library Theater, 1401 E. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89119
  • Date & Time: Sunday, January 25, 2026: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
