Join the City of Henderson in honoring our military personnel and community patriots at the annual Veterans Day Ceremony. This free public ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater. It is a truly special and meaningful occasion for the community to acknowledge the sacrifices of those who have served.

An Emotional Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Wall

The ceremony will be a very special and moving experience, with a focus on the Henderson Veterans Memorial Wall. The program will include a presentation of the names that will be engraved on the wall, making sure the service of our local veterans will be honored and remembered forever. The colors will be presented, various veterans’ organizations will be recognized, and the Henderson Symphony Orchestra will perform.

About the Henderson Veterans Memorial Wall

The Memorial Wall was constructed as a community tribute and dedicated in November 1994. It honors all veterans who lived in Henderson at the time of their service. Names are added annually at the Veterans Day Ceremony. The wall includes panels honoring veterans of the Vietnam War, the Korean War, the Persian Gulf War, and the Global War on Terror, standing as a permanent and powerful monument to hometown heroes.
