Celebrate the holiday season at the Henderson WinterFest Electric Light Parade on Friday, December 4, 2026! Downtown Henderson’s Water Street District comes alive with glowing holiday floats, marching bands, festive costumes, and community groups during this free, family-friendly Christmas celebration.

The Electric Light Parade is the grand finale of Henderson’s two-day WinterFest celebration, following the December 3 Christmas tree lighting and drone show at Water Street Plaza.

A Dazzling Holiday Parade on Water Street

Watch Water Street transform into a glowing holiday spectacle as beautifully illuminated floats and festive performers travel through historic downtown Henderson.

Parade highlights traditionally include:

• Illuminated Holiday Floats: Creative displays decorated with colorful Christmas lights and seasonal themes.
• Marching Bands: Musical performances that bring excitement and holiday cheer to the parade route.
• Cheer and Dance Groups: Local performers celebrating the holiday season.

Previous WinterFest parades have featured approximately 90 minutes of illuminated floats, music, and community entertainment. The 2026 parade lineup has not yet been finalized.

Parade Route and Viewing

The Electric Light Parade takes place along Water Street in downtown Henderson. The traditional parade route follows Water Street between Basic Road and Victory Road.

Visitors can watch from public viewing areas along the route. Arriving early is recommended to find a comfortable viewing location before the procession begins.

Know Before You Go

WinterFest is an outdoor event, so dress for the evening weather and wear comfortable shoes.

Children under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Pets are not permitted in the event area, except for qualifying service animals.

For everyone’s safety, spectators should remain outside the parade route and never attempt to cross between moving parade entries.
