About John Mayer Live at Sphere
John Mayer is bringing every side of his sound to Sphere for six performances in April 2027. Instead of building the concert around one musical configuration, Mayer divides each evening into three distinct sets that reflect different chapters of his career.
The solo portion places the focus on Mayer’s songwriting, voice, and musicianship. The full-band set opens the door to favorites from across his catalog, while the John Mayer Trio turns up the blues-rock energy with bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan.
From the heartfelt songwriting of “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” and “Gravity” to upbeat favorites such as “New Light” and “Last Train Home,” Mayer’s catalog has made him one of the most recognizable singer-songwriters and guitarists of his generation.
The performance unfolds inside Sphere, where large-scale visuals and immersive sound give each portion of the concert a different atmosphere. It is a career-spanning John Mayer concert designed specifically for one of Las Vegas’ most technologically advanced venues.

John Mayer with His Full Band
The full-band portion brings additional power and dimension to Mayer’s pop, rock, and singer-songwriter favorites.
The John Mayer Trio
Mayer reunites with bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan for a rare John Mayer Trio performance. This portion of the evening highlights the group’s blues-rock sound and improvisational chemistry.
