About The Piano Guys
The Piano Guys began in a piano shop in St. George, Utah, where music videos were created as an unconventional way to promote the instruments. Those imaginative performances quickly found a much larger audience online and transformed the project into an internationally recognized musical group.
Since their 2011 debut, The Piano Guys have released 13 albums, earned six No. 1 debuts on Billboard’s Top Classical Albums chart, and attracted more than two billion video views. Their arrangements regularly bring together classical technique, popular music, film scores, original compositions, and unexpected settings.
Jon Schmidt and Steven Sharp Nelson lead the group’s live performances on piano and cello, presenting technically impressive music without losing the fun and accessibility that helped build their audience.
