Getting to the Grand Prix Plaza
There will be significant road closures around the circuit throughout the F1 weekend; it’s suggested that you plan a route. Guests should plan to use public transportation, taxis or ride-sharing services, or, if nearby, walk to the Grand Prix Plaza. There will be relatively little on-site parking, and there are only a limited number of closed-road options.
By Foot:
If you’re staying at a hotel on or near the Las Vegas Strip, walking is often the most reliable way to get to the venue. The Grand Prix Plaza is located at 4400 Koval Lane, at the corner of Koval Lane and Harmon Avenue, just one block east of the Strip.
By Monorail:
The Las Vegas Monorail is an excellent way to avoid traffic. It runs along the east side of the Strip and has several stations located near the circuit.
- The Horseshoe/Paris Station is the closest Monorail stop to the Grand Prix Plaza. From there, it’s a short walk to the venue’s entrance at Gate D.
By Rideshare & Taxi:
Traditional rideshare and taxi services will have designated drop-off and pick-up zones outside of the circuit perimeter. You will not be able to get dropped off directly at the venue’s entrance.
- Designated drop-off locations for the Harmon Zone (which includes the Grand Prix Plaza) are at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The official F1 Las Vegas app will have a digital map to help you find the walking path from the drop-off zone to your gate.
Parking:
On-site parking at the Grand Prix Plaza is minimal and reserved for special packages. Free public parking is available at the venue, located at Gate D off Koval Lane, on a first-come, first-served basis. However, due to the number of attendees, finding a spot will be challenging. We highly recommend using a hotel parking garage located outside the circuit or using a ride-share service.
Important Note on Road Closures:
Road closures will be in effect each day of the event, with full closures generally starting in the afternoon. Always refer to the official F1 Las Vegas app for the latest updates on road closures and walking paths, and to help ensure you reach your destination without delay.
Nearby Attractions:
Located in the heart of Las Vegas, the Plaza is a central landmark during race weekend. The circuit winds down the legendary Las Vegas Strip, passing by dazzling hotels and landmarks before returning to the heart of the action at the Plaza. The venue is easily accessible and puts you right at the center of the F1 experience.
- The Famous Las Vegas Strip: The circuit stretches along this world-renowned strip, featuring glamorous hotels, casinos, and famous landmarks on either side.
- The Sphere: A cutting-edge entertainment venue that fits right in with the glitz of the race.
- Caesars Palace: A storied resort and casino known for its sheer extravagance.
- Bellagio: The landmark hotel with a stunning fountain show.
- Paris Las Vegas: The very replica of the Eiffel Tower that sits on the Strip.
