About the Venue
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas is a major new resort currently under construction on the former site of The Mirage, located at 3400 Las Vegas Boulevard South in the heart of the Strip. Scheduled to open in late 2027, the property is being developed by Seminole Gaming and will introduce a nearly 700-foot Guitar Hotel tower — a signature architectural centerpiece of the Hard Rock brand.
Early announcements and construction updates indicate that Hard Rock Las Vegas will be a fully integrated luxury resort featuring world-class gaming, dining, entertainment, and convention facilities. While final details may evolve prior to opening, the project is expected to include more than 3,700 hotel rooms, approximately 175,000 square ft. of gaming space, and over 200,000 square ft. of meeting and event space.
The resort’s design incorporates a complete transformation of the former Mirage property, backed by a budget exceeding $4 billion. Construction milestones include the topping-out of the 42-story Guitar Hotel tower in spring 2026 and ongoing installation of its blue glass façade and exterior LED lighting system.
