Blazin’ Paddles provides full-day and half-day professionally guided kayak tours so that you can safely enjoy the beauty of the Black Canyon and walk away with unforgettable memories of this sustainable adventure on the Colorado River. They offer an optional round-trip shuttle service from the Las Vegas Strip hotels in a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter. You will arrive at Willow Beach, where your guide will prepare you for your time on the River in your kayak! While paddling the Colorado River into Black Canyon, watch the shore banks and see if you can spot Desert Big Horn Sheep! Look into the sky; you may see Bald Eagles circling on thermals or scouting for prey.
About a mile in, the group will shore up and look at a historical overlook with awe-inspiring views of the River. Your knowledgeable tour guide will talk to you about the history of the River and what it was once used for nearly 100 years ago, while the first complimentary snacks are passed out to keep you fueled up for adventures still ahead. The tour stops at Emerald Cave to see this magnificent area and dip your toes in a hot spring before your group kayaks back to the beautiful green waters at Willow Beach.
