The Harbor Rainstorm at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in the Miracle Mile Shops is as surprising as it is refreshing. Shoppers are treated to thunder, lightning, mist, and pouring rain. You won’t need to run for cover as the rain falls. This storm won’t get you wet. As thunder booms around you and fog engulfs the harbor, you’ll suddenly feel like you’ve been transported to a seaside fishing village far away from the desert oasis of Las Vegas. Kids love sitting on the rocks surrounding the harbor, waiting for the storm to roll in. A nice reprieve from shopping (and walking), this free attraction is super fun for taking videos and photos to post on your social media.

- “This FREE attraction is located in the Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood. There are maps of the mall area marked on the map, but it’s in the back right wing if you enter off the casino in front of Panda Express. The show lasts about 5 minutes. It is complete with fog rolling across the water, changing colored lights on the pool’s edges, “lighting” from around the tops of the ceiling, and sounds of thunder. After the rain storm slows to an end, bird and animal noises come across the speakers.”
- “This hidden gem is free to enjoy inside the Miracle Mile on the South side near the Harmon Street entrance. While the sound effects & lighting are a bit silly nowadays, the rain from way above falling from the ceiling adds an exciting element, much like the fog bubbling up from within the water! The best part of this site is that it’s right next to Ocean One restaurant & bar, with amazing $5 lunch deals, $3 beer specials, and an assortment of other beautiful gems! They also have a wall of TVs next to the bar connected to work like a giant projection screen. Good entertainment value all around!”
