Learn to Throw, Compete, and Hit the Target

Axehole Las Vegas is an indoor axe-throwing attraction inside Neonopolis at the east end of the Fremont Street Experience. Beginners receive instruction before taking turns throwing at wooden targets and competing in guided games.

A standard session includes one hour of axe throwing, a safety and technique briefing, practice throws, coached games, and trick-shot instruction when time allows. No previous axe-throwing experience is required.

Guests who want more variety can upgrade to a VIP experience featuring specialty throwing equipment such as spears, ninja stars, shovels, metal throwing cards, and additional axes. These specialty items are part of designated VIP products rather than guaranteed with every standard admission ticket.

Axehole works well for date nights, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette groups, family outings with older children, team-building activities, and visitors comparing interactive games with other Las Vegas tours and attractions.

What to Expect at Axehole Las Vegas

The experience begins with staff explaining the house rules, lane procedures, grip, stance, throwing motion, and target technique. Guests then take practice throws before moving into games and friendly competition.

Throwing is based more on controlled movement and technique than physical strength. Staff can help guests adjust their distance, release, and rotation when an axe does not initially stick in the target.

Brief Instruction Period
An Axehole coach demonstrates the basic throwing motion and explains how guests should enter, leave, and use the lane.

Practice Throws
Participants receive time to become comfortable with the axe and make adjustments before organized games begin.

Guided Games
The coach can introduce scoring formats, challenges, or tournament-style competition based on the group and available time.

Trick-Shot Instruction
After the main competition, staff may demonstrate additional throws or trick shots appropriate for the session and participant ability.

Downtown Social Setting
Axehole has a casual, energetic atmosphere suited to friends, couples, families, and group celebrations near Fremont Street.

Axehole Rage Room Experience

Axehole also operates a separate Rage Room where participants put on protective equipment and break designated objects using supplied smashing tools.

The operator currently lists the standard Rage Room at approximately 15 minutes. It includes safety equipment, one medium item, and five smaller fragile items. The room allows no more than three participants at a time, and closed-toe shoes are required.

Rage Room admission is a separate booking rather than an automatic addition to a standard axe-throwing ticket. Review the selected product carefully before checkout when the group wants both activities.

Axehole Las Vegas Location and Parking

Axehole Las Vegas is located in Suite 163 inside the Centre Court area of Neonopolis at 450 East Fremont Street. The entrance is under the escalators near the east end of the Fremont Street Experience.

The correct location is not Suite 380 or the third floor. Guests entering Neonopolis should look for Centre Court and follow signs toward the suite under the escalators.

Neonopolis has an underground parking garage. The venue’s driving directions route guests from Las Vegas Boulevard onto Carson Avenue and then to the garage entrance from Fourth Street. Downtown traffic patterns and garage access can change during events and road closures.

Allow extra time for parking, walking through Neonopolis, finding Suite 163, completing check-in, and signing any required participation forms.

Tips for Visiting Axehole Las Vegas

  • Wear closed-toe shoes: They are required for axe throwing and the Rage Room.
  • Check the exact ticket: Standard admission covers regular axe throwing. Specialty items require a VIP or other qualifying package.
  • Arrive before the reservation: Allow time to park, find Suite 163, check in, and complete the orientation.
  • Identify minor participants: Tell the venue when the group includes anyone younger than 18 so the required guardian authorization can be handled.
  • Bring valid ID: Adults purchasing alcohol should carry government-issued photo identification.
  • Do not bring alcohol: Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
  • Follow lane instructions: Enter the throwing area, retrieve equipment, and change turns only as directed by the coach.
  • Ask for technique help: Small changes in distance and release can make a substantial difference for beginners.
  • Reserve VIP items intentionally: Spears, ninja stars, shovels, and throwing cards are not guaranteed with basic admission.
  • Check current hours: The operator publishes inconsistent Friday and Saturday opening times, so use the live calendar and reservation confirmation.
  • Plan the meal separately: Axehole sells drinks but does not operate a full-service restaurant.
  • Confirm Rage Room capacity: No more than three participants can enter that room at one time.
