Learn to Throw, Compete, and Hit the Target
Axehole Las Vegas is an indoor axe-throwing attraction inside Neonopolis at the east end of the Fremont Street Experience. Beginners receive instruction before taking turns throwing at wooden targets and competing in guided games.
A standard experience lasts one hour and includes a safety briefing, basic technique instruction, practice throws, coached games, and trick-shot guidance when time allows. No previous axe-throwing experience is required.
Upgraded experiences may add specialty throwing equipment such as spears, ninja stars, shovels, metal throwing cards, and additional axes. Confirm the package details when these items are important to your group.
Axehole works well for date nights, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, families with older children, team-building activities, and visitors comparing interactive games with other Las Vegas tours and attractions.

What to Expect at Axehole Las Vegas

The experience begins with a coach explaining the safety rules, lane procedures, grip, stance, throwing motion, and target technique. Participants receive practice time before moving into games and friendly competition.
Successful axe throwing depends more on controlled movement, distance, rotation, and release than physical strength. Coaches can help beginners adjust their technique when the axe does not initially stick in the target.
- Safety Briefing: Learn how to hold the axe and safely enter, leave, and use the throwing lane.
- Practice Throws: Become comfortable with the equipment before organized games begin.
- Guided Games: Compete in scoring challenges or tournament-style games suited to the group.
- Technique Help: Coaches help participants adjust their stance, distance, release, and rotation.
- Trick Shots: Additional throwing techniques may be introduced when time and participant ability allow.
Axehole Rage Room
Axehole also offers a separate Rage Room where participants wear protective equipment and break designated objects with supplied smashing tools.
The standard Rage Room experience lasts approximately 15 minutes and may include one medium item and five smaller fragile items. No more than three participants can enter the room at once, and closed-toe shoes are required.
Rage Room admission is not included with a standard axe-throwing ticket. Book it separately when your group wants to experience both activities.
