The Lion Ranch is open Thursday to Monday, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Admission stops at 1:00 pm. The ranch is also open on major holidays.

In the event of unfavorable weather, you may reschedule your ticket or receive a refund.

Driving Directions:

  • From the Las Vegas Strip:
    • Head south on Las Vegas Boulevard (the Strip).
    • Merge onto I-15 South.
    • Take Exit 27 for St. Rose Parkway.
    • Turn left onto St. Rose Parkway.
    • Continue on St. Rose Parkway for about 6 miles.
    • Turn right onto Bruner Avenue.
    • The Lion Habitat Ranch will be on your left at 382 Bruner Ave.
  • From Downtown Las Vegas:
    • Head east on E. Charleston Boulevard.
    • Merge onto I-515 South/US-93 South/US-95 South.
    • Take Exit 64 for I-215 East toward Henderson.
    • Merge onto I-215 East.
    • Take Exit 7 for Eastern Avenue.
    • Turn left onto S. Eastern Avenue.
    • Continue on Eastern Avenue for about 5 miles.
    • Turn right onto St. Rose Parkway.
    • Turn left onto Bruner Avenue.
    • The Lion Habitat Ranch will be on your left at 382 Bruner Ave.

Parking:

  • The Lion Habitat Ranch has its own free parking lot. The entrance gate to the parking lot is located just west of Bermuda Street on Bruner Avenue. Look for a white gate.

Public Transportation Options:

  • Unfortunately, there isn’t direct public transportation to the Lion Habitat Ranch. However, if you’re staying on the Strip or downtown, consider taking a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) or renting a car for convenience.
  • Keep in mind that Ubering to the ranch can be a bit expensive, so factor that into your costs if you choose that option.

All ages are welcome! However, please note that strollers are permitted but not available for loan or rent.

Can We Bring Food?

For the animals, no. For you, yes!

At the Lion Habitat Ranch in Henderson, guests are allowed to bring their own food and drinks. However, please note that glass items and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Unfortunately, there are no facilities available for food or cooler storage on-site. If you prefer, you can also purchase drinks and snacks from the ticket booth and gift shop.

  • Origin: Ozzie was born at the Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Wichita, Kansas.
  • Nevada’s Only Giraffe: When Ozzie was just 8 months old and already 8 feet tall, he made his way to the Lion Habitat Ranch, becoming the first and only giraffe in the entire state of Nevada!
