Mariachi, Dance and El Grito
The afternoon’s entertainment will include performances by the award-winning Mariachi Joya from Las Vegas High School and the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts Mariachi Band.
Guests can also enjoy traditional folklórico dance performances, music from a live Latin DJ, and an interactive call-and-response El Grito contest celebrating the historic cry associated with Mexico’s fight for independence.
The program is presented in celebration of Mexican Independence Day and Hispanic Heritage Month. It is designed as a welcoming community gathering for families and visitors of all ages.
