Water Lantern Festival Las Vegas at Sunset Park
The Water Lantern Festival returns to Sunset Park in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for an afternoon of music, food, and connection followed by a sunset lantern launch. Guests can decorate floating lanterns with messages of hope, love, remembrance, or personal intention before watching them drift across the water.

A Sunset Celebration of Hope and Connection
Families, couples, friends, and solo attendees can share a relaxed outing centered on reflection and community. Before the launch, the festival offers live music, local food vendors, yard games, and a scavenger hunt.
The 2026 Radiant Tour adds guided moments and shared experiences designed to encourage joy, connection, and personal reflection. Guests can also take part in Lantern Stories, a space for sharing personal reflections and honoring loved ones through their lanterns.
Each lantern can carry a different meaning: a remembrance, a hope for the future, or a message for someone special. As sunset approaches, those individual messages become part of a shared display on the water.

Festival Schedule
- 2 p.m.: Gates open; food trucks, music, and activities begin.
- 4:30 p.m.: Lantern decorating.
- 5–6 p.m.: Lantern launch.
- 6 p.m.: Event ends.
What to Bring and What Is Included
Ticketed admission includes a floating lantern kit, LED candle, marker, and festival wristband. Guests should bring their tickets, a lawn chair or blanket, and clothing suited to the weather.
After the event, the organizer’s cleanup team collects the lanterns and materials from the water and surrounding area.
