A Project of the Las Vegas Centennial.
The “City of 100 Murals” is a part of the Las Vegas Centennial Project and is comprised of 180 permanent and temporary murals. The creation of these murals involved the collaboration of numerous students, artists, and citizens from the Las Vegas Valley. These murals are situated in various locations throughout the valley, including schools, public buildings, commercial structures, and other facilities. The murals were created in various mediums, sizes, and shapes and were placed both indoors and outdoors. The themes of the murals range from familiar Las Vegas icons to historical events that have shaped the area into what it is today.
