A dazzling free thing to do in Las Vegas, the Downtown Gateway Arches features two iconic symbols of Las Vegas: the illuminated arches and the glamorous showgirls. The arches span 140 feet across Las Vegas Boulevard and display the city’s script logo in bright lights. Located between St. Louis and Bob Stupak avenues, at the base of The STRAT, the arches are fully programmable. They change colors and patterns to create a stunning visual effect.
The showgirls are located at the intersection of Main Street and Las Vegas Boulevard, a short distance from the arches. They stand 50 feet tall and wear colorful costumes and feathered headdresses. They are surrounded by dice, poker chips, and a roulette wheel. The showgirls are a perfect backdrop for selfies and group photos, as they capture the spirit and glamour of Las Vegas.
The Downtown Las Vegas Gateway Arches & Showgirls photo stop is open 24/7 and is free to visit. It is a great way to experience the culture and history of downtown Las Vegas and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city!
