The Venetian Gondoliers March

One of the highlights of a visit to The Venetian is the Gondoliers March, a free show that showcases the talent and charisma of the gondoliers. These skilled boatmen are trained singers who serenade the guests with Italian songs during the gondola rides. In addition, they wear traditional costumes and hats that add to the authenticity of the experience.

• The Gondoliers March takes place every morning and afternoon at 9:50 am & 4:20 pm.

The gondoliers parade through the Grand Canal Shoppes while singing, to and from the North Canal turnaround, where they start and end their shift. This is a free show that you can watch from the bridges or the balconies that overlook the canal. You will be amazed by the harmony and energy of the gondoliers as they perform classic Italian songs such as “O Sole Mio,” “Volare,” and “That’s Amore.”

Venetian Gondola Rides

If you want to experience the gondolas for yourself, you can purchase a ride on the spot or book a combination ticket deal that includes a gondola ride and admission to Madame Tussauds wax museum. You can choose between two types of gondola rides: indoor and outdoor.

The indoor gondola ride takes you through the Grand Canal Shoppes, where you can admire the Italian-inspired architecture and the blue sky-painted ceiling. You will feel like you are in the heart of Venice as you pass by the shops, restaurants, and cafes that line the canal. You will also see the replicas of famous landmarks such as the Rialto Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs, and St. Mark’s Square. They are Monday through Thursday and Sunday: 10:00 am to 11:00 pm; Friday through Saturday: 10:00 am to 12:00 am.

On the outdoor gondola ride, you go along a lagoon at the front of the hotel, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Las Vegas Strip. You will see the iconic sights of the city, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Bellagio fountains, and the Mirage volcano. You will also feel the breeze and the sunshine as you glide on the water. These operate from 10:00 am to midnight daily.
