What to Expect Inside HERSHEY’S Chocolate World
The store combines candy displays, oversized decorations, interactive shopping stations, dessert counters, souvenirs, and photo opportunities across two levels.
Visitors enter a colorful environment filled with familiar HERSHEY’S brands, including HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate, HERSHEY’S KISSES, REESE’S, JOLLY RANCHER, TWIZZLERS, KIT KAT, and other products distributed by The Hershey Company.
The exact selection changes with seasons, holidays, new product releases, promotional campaigns, and inventory. An item shown in an older photo or video may no longer be available.
The store can become crowded during evenings, weekends, holidays, major events, and school-break periods. Narrow areas may develop around dessert counters, customization stations, photographs, and checkout lines.
No fixed route is required. Visitors can browse one floor, explore both levels, stop for a photograph, purchase a dessert, or leave without buying anything.

Watch the Dessert Counters
Visitors can see cookies, brownies, s’mores, milkshakes, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and other treats being prepared or served.
Availability differs by day. Do not plan a visit around one specific candy, flavor, package, dessert, or personalization option without confirming it first.
See the Milk-Chocolate Statue of Liberty
One of the store’s most recognizable displays is a replica of the Statue of Liberty made from almost 800 pounds of HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate.
The sculpture connects HERSHEY’S Chocolate World with the New York City theme of the surrounding resort. It also provides one of the store’s best-known free photo opportunities.
The sculpture is a display piece and is not available for tasting. Do not touch its protective enclosure, lean against it, place belongings on it, or allow children to climb near the display.
Lighting, protective panels, nearby merchandise, and crowds can produce reflections. Move slightly to one side rather than using a bright camera flash.
Visitors who want the complete sculpture in a photograph may need to step farther back and wait for an opening in pedestrian traffic.
Bakery Treats, Milkshakes, and Candy Shopping
HERSHEY’S Chocolate World currently promotes oversized cookies, chocolate-dipped strawberries, HERSHEY’S milkshakes, bakery-fresh desserts, and its Double Chocolate S’more.
Milkshakes
Available flavors and toppings can change. Large specialty milkshakes may be rich enough to share.
S’mores
The dessert area may serve warm s’mores built with HERSHEY’S chocolate, marshmallow, and graham crackers. Food-service hours can begin later than the main store’s opening time.
Cookies and Brownies
Bakery cases may include oversized cookies, brownies, and chocolate-covered desserts.
Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries
Availability may depend on daily preparation and inventory.
Candy by Assortment
Check the posted price and container instructions before filling a bag or package. Candy-machine selections are not complimentary samples.
Food Allergies
Ask an employee about current ingredients, preparation practices, and allergen information before ordering. Do not assume a product is safe based only on its appearance or name. Shared preparation and retail areas may present cross-contact concerns.
Prices, serving sizes, recipes, toppings, and product availability can change without notice.

Tips Before You Go
Use the Current Weekly Hours
The official HERSHEY’S location page currently lists 9:00 a.m.–12:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m.–1:00 a.m. Friday through Sunday.
Visit Earlier for Smaller Crowds
Morning and early afternoon can be easier for photographs, personalization, and browsing than weekend evenings.
Set a Shopping Budget
Free admission can quickly become an expensive candy and souvenir stop. Check prices before filling custom containers or ordering elaborate desserts.
Do Not Expect a Factory Tour
This location is a retail experience. It does not provide a working HERSHEY’S manufacturing-line tour.
Do Not Expect Free Tastings
Samples may occasionally appear during promotions, but complimentary tasting is not a guaranteed everyday attraction.
Supervise Children
Keep children nearby around stairs, merchandise, candy dispensers, glass displays, food counters, and heavy pedestrian traffic.
Respect Displays
Do not open packages, eat unpurchased candy, pull dispensers without a purchase container, or touch protected chocolate artwork.
Ask Before Professional Photography
Tripods, lighting, staged shoots, interviews, commercial filming, and large camera equipment may require property approval.
Check Receipts and Storage Conditions
Chocolate can melt quickly in a parked vehicle or while walking outdoors during warm weather. Plan how purchases will be transported and stored.
