About City National Arena in Las Vegas

Opened on September 18, 2017, the City National Arena is the official practice facility and team headquarters for the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights. Located in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, the state-of-the-art complex spans 146,000 square feet and has two regulation-size ice rinks, each able to seat 600 spectators. Designed by architect Leo A. Daly, the arena caters to professional athletes and ice sports enthusiasts.

Two NHL-sized ice rinks, named Summerlin Hospital Rink and Ghost Energy Rink, host practices, games, and public skating sessions. Inside, there is also a retail store for Vegas Golden Knights merchandise. An on-site restaurant for pizza and sandwiches that overlooks the ice rinks. Most noteworthy is probably the onsite training facilities equipped with locker rooms, sports medicine facilities, and a fitness center to meet the needs of professional athletes and community programs.
