Desert Breeze Park is a large Clark County regional park at 8275 Spring Mountain Road near Durango Drive in Spring Valley. It combines sports fields, dog runs, a skate park, roller hockey, playgrounds, picnic areas, a walking path, and other outdoor recreation. Sports Fields, Playgrounds, and Picnic Areas

Desert Breeze Park includes baseball, softball, soccer, and football fields, outdoor basketball, playgrounds, picnic areas, restrooms, and a walking path. Organized leagues, practices, tournaments, and other scheduled activities may affect access to individual sports areas.

Clark County currently lists Desert Breeze as a non-reservable park, with picnic areas available on a first-come, first-served basis. General park recreation is also one of many free things to do in Las Vegas.

Desert Breeze Dog Park

Three fenced dog runs are on the south side of the park and can be reached from the internal park road from either Durango Drive or Spring Mountain Road. Clark County lists benches, trees, waste receptacles, and water taps in the dog-run area.

Clark County permits dogs to be off leash within designated dog-park areas. Outside those areas, dogs in County parks must remain under the control of a handler and on a leash no longer than six feet.

Skate Park and Roller Hockey

The concrete Desert Breeze Skate Park is designed mainly for intermediate and advanced users, with some beginner features. Clark County identifies benches, shade, drinking fountains, and timed lighting among its permanent features.

Two regulation roller-hockey rinks are located west of the skate park. Access may vary when organized activities, maintenance, or scheduled programs are using the area.

Community Center and Aquatic Facilities

Desert Breeze Community Center is adjacent to the outdoor park and includes two gymnasiums, a fitness room, classrooms, and meeting rooms. Classes, open-gym periods, camps, sports, and other programs follow the Community Center’s own operating schedule.

Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility provides indoor swimming facilities and a seasonal outdoor water park. Pool hours, water-park dates, admission, lessons, and participation requirements are managed separately from ordinary park access.

Park Hours

Clark County currently lists Desert Breeze Park hours as 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily. The Community Center, Aquatic Facility, organized sports, classes, and other scheduled activities can follow different operating hours.

Programs and Special Events

Desert Breeze Park may host recreation programs, sports activities, community gatherings, and other scheduled uses during the year. These activities can temporarily affect access to fields, parking, picnic areas, or other portions of the park.

Large concerts, festivals, and major outdoor productions may instead take place at the separate Desert Breeze Event Center at 8455 Kids Zone Parkway within the broader Desert Breeze complex. Visitors should check the venue listed for their specific event rather than assuming that all Desert Breeze events take place inside the general park.

Desert Breeze Park is at 8275 Spring Mountain Road near Durango Drive. Parking is available in designated areas around the property, and the most useful parking location depends on whether the visitor is headed to the sports fields, dog runs, skate park, Community Center, or Aquatic Facility.

Visitors attending a scheduled activity should follow any entrance or parking instructions supplied for that program. Guests attending an event at Desert Breeze Event Center should use the Event Center’s separate address and event-specific arrival instructions rather than the main park address.
