Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar Taste & Learn

Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar invites guests to experience the next Taste & Learn, taking place Saturday, July 25 at 6 p.m. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting dinner that provides illuminating wine education along with expertly prepared, authentic Italian small plates prepared by Executive Chef Francesco DiCaudo. Due to current public-health operating guidelines, space will be limited.
July’s event will take participants on a tour of Italy, from north to south, spotlighting wines from Friuli, Tuscany, and Campania. The first stop on the tour features Ribolla, a white wine grape variety widely planted in the northeastern Italian province of Friuli. The next two wines hail from Tuscany, whose most notable wines including Rosso di Montalcino and the Super Tuscan Marenna Toscana Sangiovese. The final stop tours Southern Italy’s Campania region, spotlighting the Aglianico grape variety.
As always, Ferraro’s award-winning chef will prepare imaginative dishes to accompany each wine. The full menu follows:
