The Ethel M Chocolate Experience

A local gem that combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary innovation is the Ethel M Chocolates Flagship Store in Henderson, Nevada. Established in 1981 by Forrest Mars Sr. in remembrance of his mother’s recipes, the factory continues to make high-quality chocolates in small quantities on-site.

This unique destination offers something for all, whether you want to take a free tour of the factory, stroll through the botanical cactus garden, or indulge in a guided chocolate tasting experience.

The Free Self-Guided Factory Tour

The Ethel M Chocolate Factory Tour is a chance to see how the famous small-batch chocolates—and even M&M’s, Mars Bars, and Milky Way—are made. As you walk through the self-guided viewing aisle, you’ll witness the entire process, from ganaches, caramels, and brittles to the final coating and packaging. The best part? Everyone gets a free sample of chocolate at the end of the tour!

For a more in-depth experience, you can reserve a guided chocolate tasting session. All tastings are held in person at the Henderson Flagship location and last approximately 30 to 45 minutes. They include a guided tasting, chocolate education, and a same-day discount in the gift shop.
