Water Street Plaza Amphitheater

The amphitheater is the plaza’s primary performance area. It includes tiered audience seating and permanent audio, visual, and lighting infrastructure for concerts, presentations, festivals, and other programs.

The lower plaza includes a viewing area and a 42-foot-wide digital screen used for selected movie screenings, sports viewing parties, presentations, and special events.

The screen and performance systems are event infrastructure. They should not be described as continuously operating public attractions.

Access to the amphitheater may require a ticket, registration, security screening, or event check-in even when the surrounding plaza remains open.

Splash Pad, Playground, Lawn, and Shade

The Water Street garage may be entered from Water Street when that roadway remains open or from Texas Avenue. Follow the specific event’s closure map and posted traffic controls.

Do not park in restricted government, employee, residential, loading, fire-lane, or private-business spaces. Review all posted time limits and closure notices before leaving the vehicle.

Rideshare and taxi pickup locations may move when Water Street is closed. Use the event’s transportation instructions and allow extra time after large programs.
