The Art of Richard MacDonald

Presented by Cirque du Soleil, The Art of Richard MacDonald is an ongoing exhibition featuring more than 50 bronze sculptures. Additionally, original drawings, serigraphs, and lithographs showcasing circus and performance artists are on display. Find the exhibition in the lobby of the theatre for the aquatic show “O” by Cirque du Soleil at Bellagio. All of the artworks displayed are available for purchase.

The gallery was established through a partnership between Guy Laliberté, Founder of Cirque du Soleil, and Richard MacDonald, a master of figurative sculpture. MacDonald and Laliberté share similar lifelong creative goals, and MacDonald’s work reflects the spectrum of performing arts. Moreover, his sculptures capture a moment in time, immortalizing the grace, strength, joy, and discipline of dancers and acrobats. MacDonald’s work shares the creativity and imagination that fuels Cirque du Soleil and conveys his sense of energy and passion.
